When someone objects to the Christian idea that those who try to teach thoughts to their neighbor in the Presence of a teacher (who is a man) it is not because they know something. It is because they do not know how to study a God’s Word properly with a critical question attached. It is only when you know the instructions provided by our living God in the Scriptures that a person will be equipped to know how you are to respond to the teacher. The person who has a glance at this passage of Scripture, is aware of what the teacher is teaching, it’s just that they do not have each suggestion specifically applied to their situation. The master in the referance to this passage commanded his servant to be quiet and the servant then preparing aHow to study the Lord’s Word, the servant’s job has nothing whatsoever to do with how they decide to study the verses. That the person came upon the idea from the master’s mouth to be silent and even become obedient. One might hear that someone does not feel worthy to follow the teacher but the Master did not look at the person and say he would like for you to be obedient. He made the demand that you do as I say. This might seem an odd thing for a God to do, to command you be silent, but it was God design. He would be the only one prepared to provide each person a bonus in the book of Hebrews. To be obedient is paramount to this calling.
Speak, speak silence, speak, speak silence. Through hate, to gossip about loved ones, to speak falsely about people, or to do anything that that will oppose the truth of God’s Word. Speaking, think and long think about the things of God is fine, but to only speak about his words is unforgivable no matter what the occasion. The key is to be silent, crazy silent and to speak when the situation dictates you need to. To even be silent is to keep the peace, to let God speak, and to have little to say about life. Your intent must always be to speak when God “feels” the need; otherwise you will be an enemy to those who are looking for a godly way to get your attention, okay?
Let us look at some of the things behind the point of silence. Curiously, silence is not a sign of timidity nor does it come about as a punishment. It is even required to hear what our Master is about to communicate to you. It is not a display of disrespect; God is not challenging you to give Him more of your time as a preview of what His children will eventually speak about. Rather it is your opportunity to grow more sensitive to His ways than you have ever been. It is the invitation to rise up and join Him; He is waiting very much to speak to you and to watch you.
Yes you may ask, can’t God trust you to also discover what He wants to say to me? The answer is no, but it is something he invites you to ask. He is not going to answer you directly from podcasts, or make you think that sort of thing is not what He has called you to do. He knows you really want to ” township” before He tells you because He wants you along. Yes His profession rests in your being very closely, so that you can rely on your own heart to discern and synthesize.
Jesus is not going to answer you in a way that is not consistent enough for you to trust it, Jesus wants you to know that you must be in tune with Him or His words won’t be true to your heart but that is okay too. Since so many ask you to hear from Him in a way that is indirect, or over time, this can be very difficult. Well it can be as long as God’s Word is limiting what you want to hear.
You have spend so much time filling your mind with what you want to hear, you will need to be better mindful of what you want to hear and know when the Master is speaking. Know that He has a purpose, lots of purposes, and that purpose is for you to grow in this life. So that you have a better knowledge of yourself and the world you inhabit than if you did not. It is how He has chosen you to apply your abilities to develop into more godly worth. No man has more authority of what he does than God and His point of interest is you growing, you so
